Who Turned My Table?

A wheel from my table was missing, and it turned upside down. It toppled over, and no hero was coming, so I turned it over and fixed it.

Sometimes you need to roll up your sleeves and do the dirty work. Don’t be afraid to upend your life and start over if you must. It’s not backwardness, it’s progress.

What bolts do you need to tighten?

Stop what you must, pause what you must. Heal what you must, bend and turn over the pages of regret, missed opportunities and unfinished self-conversations. It’s not confrontation, it’s
graduation from everything that has held you back.

Embrace the importance of 10 minutes of silence a day,  no phones, music or background noise. This resets your nervous system and clears your mind.

If 10 minutes is too much, start with 90 seconds, see where your mind takes you. Your creativity and memory intention will increase just after a few weeks of paying attention to silence in a chaotic and overstimulating world.

Next, or first, depending on your priorities or weaknesses, build intentional connections with people.

Don’t assume that your relationships will remain solid without any input or contributions from you. Refuse to be lazy in your most important relationships; hustling and being too busy is an excuse for those who don’t value people as much as they should.

Call old friends, reach out to family. ‘I don’t have time’ is not a real excuse not to make time for those you love. If there’s an emergency, time will suddenly appear.

Clear out your closet, empty your handbag. Scrub your pots, rearrange your bathroom products ( get rid of empty cans, old cream bottles, and place your items like the royalty you are).

Changes do not have to be big, expensive or entirely new; they can be small, repeated and intentional.

Don’t be afraid of drastic change; there will come a time when you need to reinvent yourself or redefine yourself, not based on how family and friends have always known you, but in light of your purpose and true identity.

If you’re waiting for permission to turn your table over, no one is going to hand it to you.
See as a ‘life traffic warden’ waving and giving you a Green light, screaming to you.

It’s time to tear down your old ways of thinking, rebuild new plans, perspective and habits.
If that’s too much or too heavy at the moment, wake up every day, intentionally open to change and growth, and that will be enough.

Take deep breaths to intentionally breathe in hope, breathe out to release pressure and anxiety.
What table will you be turning over? What screws are loose that you will be tightening? Even if the screws are in your head…

Rooting for you always!
